Dr. Shiwarski, then a postdoctoral fellow in the Feinberg lab, co-developed a novel biosensor that reveals the mechanobiological forces shaping organ development. The sensor enables measurement of previously uncharacterized forces relevant to conditions such as hypertension and organ morphogenesis.
